Nanchang Fashion Week x Harper’s Bazaar: 'Glowing Night' Gala Redefines Cultural Fashion Legacy​ ​

　　On May7, the grand opening ceremony of Nanchang International Fashion Week (NCIFW)， alongside the Bazaar Shine "Glowing Night" gala, illuminated the historic Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. Guided by the Nanchang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism, the event was co-organized by the Publicity Department of Donghu District Committee of the Communist Party of China, Nanchang, Donghu District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism, Jiangxi Shenzhou Brilliant Culture Development Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Tourism Group International Exhibition Co., Ltd., and Jiangxi Nanchang Tourism Group Co., Ltd., with co-hosting by Harper’s Bazaar magazine and Nanchang Donghu Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd。

　　Over 50 celebrities and luminaries graced the opening night, including actors Gao Shuguang, Michelle Chen, Mabel Yuan, Viann Zhang , Lianlian, Yan An, Wang Tianchen, musician Li Daben BENZO, and international supermodel, founder of QQM High Jewelry, QiQi. Their presence transformed the millennium-old pavilion into a dazzling fusion of heritage and haute couture.​​

　　​​Gao Luyi, Chairman of Jiangxi Shenzhou Brilliant Culture Development Co., Ltd., emphasized the event’s mission: "NCIFW was born from our commitment to local cultural confidence and a global vision. As practitioners of Jiangxi’s cultural industry, we aim to bridge tradition and innovation, showcasing Nanchang’s beauty to the world. Despite challenges, support from the government and partners has rooted this dream in reality"。

　　The "Glowing Night" gala commenced with four flagship showcases: Li Wei’s Haute Couture, Gu Axin’s Haute Couture, Gongxi Huanghou High Jewelr, and Niankeke High Jewelr, blending avant-garde design with traditional craftsmanship. Against the backdrop of Tengwang Pavilion’s golden eaves, the event interwove music, dance, and national intangible cultural heritage performances, such as the ritual Nuo Dance fused with Li Daben’s rap track "Mastered"—a bold dialogue between ancient artistry and contemporary trends。

　　As lanterns bathed the ancient pavilion in light, the night unfolded as a symphony of multicultural artistry—a testament to China’s profound cultural heritage and modern creative vitality.
